Solution
Global was contracted to supply vapor phase treatment equipment and service for a system designed by our client, an environmental consultant, to treat underground contamination originating from leaking USTs at a gas station in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Global provided two steel granular activated carbon vessels plumbed with reversible piping to switch the lead and lag vessels during each carbon change out, an initial fill of vapor phase carbon, and the installation of an exhaust stack for the venting of treated air. Global will continue to perform quarterly carbon change-out services on the system for the duration of the treatment schedule over the next two years.
