Solution
Global Treatment Solutions completed a vapor-phase carbon change-out and media replacement of 1,140 cubic feet of spent carbon from an odor control system located at a municipal water treatment facility in Missouri. The project scope included field labor and vacuum extraction equipment to complete media removal which required cartridge filters for exhaust dust control and the operation of a telescopic forklift with 6000-pound, 40′ reach capacity. The spent media was containerized in on-site roll-off dumpsters while GTS assists the client with waste characterization and disposal.
